RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Tested until it held.
FakInk didn’t start with a product. It started with a problem.
We watched athletes show up to compete with sponsor branding that didn't survive the warm-up. Tattoos that peeled mid-event. Logos that fell apart before the finish line.
So we started researching materials, testing finishes, watching what failed and understanding why. From early trials through to final testing — every combination was pushed through real competition conditions. Back-to-back sessions. Sauna recovery. Cold plunges. Sweat, grip, and pressure.

THE FORMULA AND PROCESS
What we landed on is our own refined process: the right material, the right finish and the right application method, developed until it held through everything we threw at it.
Every tattoo is thoroughly considered from start to finish. Logo design and editing, colour conversion and artwork setup, through to hand-finishing and hand-cutting. Even the visual guide on the reverse — so every application is aligned and nothing is missed.

TESTED & PROVEN

We’ve tested FakInk through heavy training, competition and recovery — but we needed someone who could push it further.
Marc Dean was the ultimate pressure tester. With daily high-intensity training, elite-level competition to hot/cold recovery built into his routine, Marc put the prototypes through all the conditions they were designed for.
Testing the same tattoo across two back-to-back Pro events (Glasgow to Copenhagen) within 48hrs, with training, hot/cold recovery in between before travelling to the Denmark event. The MD tattoo held through all of it.
With two 1st place AG finishes across those events — that's when we knew the formula was ready.
